EdLock is an educational app mostly for kids. It works as an app lock of sorts. You put it over the apps yours kids use and they answer trivial questions to unlock the app and use it. Thus, the kids learn a little something every time they use the device. It’s a neat premise. You get three tokens to unlock three topics to start with in the free version. From there, you can unlock additional tokens through in-app purchases or subscribe for $12.99 per year to unlock everything. The price is a bit steep, so it’s difficult to recommend it to everybody. However, we like the idea a lot, especially for kids who are consistently glued to their devices.
